Some people get so concerned and focused on losing fat that they become susceptible to take unnecessary risks. The process of losing fat and/or weight in general should NOT be as hard as is often presented by many people. There are basic principles that, when followed, make losing fat a less than “major” task.
There are certain tips that can easily get most people started on a ten pound weight loss very quickly when they start a new program. These tips are not really the latest, greatest, high technology created ones, but really are effective and basic. These have been used repeatedly over and over many times very successfully.
They are as follows:
- “White Food” avoidance- White foods such as chicken, fish, and cauliflower are OK. However, the ones to be avoided, at least initially, are white breads, certain cereals, pastas, and even some crackers. Others are flour, rice, potato products, milk and cheese items.
- Soft drinks- (and hard drinks for that matter) that have sugar, calories, and artificial sweeteners. Coffee should also be avoided initially if you use any type of creamer. To get the fat loss process started quickly you should be drinking at least half your body weight in ounces of water. If you weigh 200 pounds, than you need to be drinking 100 ounces of water each day. I will show you later in this article how to do this.
- Stay off the WHEAT products!- Even if the package says “whole wheat”, it is a big NO! Three simple rules to start a REALLY proven fast fat losing process. They should not be too complicated to follow, RIGHT? OK, you may have to adjust your habits just a little, but won’t the rewards be worth it? You will be amazed at the results by just following these three simple little rules. The results will be visible to you in just a couple of weeks.
How to Drink Half Your Weight in Water Each Day
So now you are wondering how in the world to drink this much water (half your body weight) each day. It is really not that hard. I used to not like drinking water also. Water is necessary with a capital W for life. Many experts agree that water for each human to have “ideal health” is ½ of your body weight. Below are a few tips that will greatly enhance your ability to accomplish this goal.
- Drink an 8-10 oz. glass each hour of the day. For those just starting out you may want to use a timer.
- Put fresh lemon or lime in your water…you will be amazed at the taste! Don’t use concentrate because it has too many preservative chemicals. Just slice up one at the beginning of the day and squeeze a slice into your glass. The alkaline contained in the citrus is very beneficial to your body.
- Do not drink anything while eating your meals. This is because the “washing down” effect can actually keep the body from using the necessary digestive enzymes to get the most benefits out of the food you eat. Try drinking a glass of water about 20-30 minutes before you eat and about 1-2 hours after you eat.
- This may seem “gross” to some people, but make the 1st glass of water you drink in the morning warm in order to flush out the body. • Try to drink your water at room temperature throughout the day, instead of cold which seems to “shock” the body. Room temp water makes it easier for your body to process.
- Drink all your water at once instead of sipping over a period of time. It may mean you are going to the bathroom more at first, but this is normal.
- When you leave home make sure you carry your water in safe, reusable, eco-friendly containers.
- In the end you will discover that this has been all worth it. Slimmer body, healthier you, and a great outlook and confidence!
